Dark Iron - A secret recipe for Great Vanilla Mining Wealth.



Mining so far , except for Arcane Crystals, has been weak profits for you I am sure.

Now I am sure you remember the HIGH WORTH ORES I listed a few times.

Vanilla classic wow  Mine Dark Iron Ore about 8- 20 gold each. More on this later.
TBC Burning crusade zone  Mine All ores: Fel Iron About 14g each, Adamantite Ore 14g. Khorium Ore worth about 100 - 200 gold each.
Wrath of the Lich King zones Mine all ores. Cobalt ore 20g each.  Saronite ore 10g each. Titanium ore about 100g each.




I assure you Dark Iron is actually pretty good Profits.

As you level in mining goes up you will yield more Arcane Crystals and more ores per dig.
BUT Dark IRON Bars currently sell for about 140gold apiece.

YOU REALLY SHOULD MINE DARK IRON BARS.  I do.

If you are tired of mining in vanilla , I dont blame you,  but this Dark Iron is the gold prize at the end of the race.

Dark Iron is used to craft legendaries. It is fairly rare, and spawns inside instances.

The Steps to getting the recipe for dark Iron

1.From Stormwind head over to Blackrok Mountains . A convenient entrance is in the Burning Steppes. You will need to bring the below goodies. 2 Star Ruby.. 10 truesilver Bars ... 20 Gold Bars..


2. Head into the Entrance of Black Rock Mountain . Walk up the chain  into the center structure.
 
Head to the Circled castle on the Map.  In the entrance we go !
3, Get your screen to match the above view. You will need to do some Acrobatics on the chains if you are unable to fly.  I suggest you do this at max level however as it involves a dungeon and making serious money involves soloing a raid.  A max level character can solo it all easily.  Follow the map below.

4. From the Cave marked in the map above follow the below path to get into the Dungeon Entrance for  the Blackrock Depths Dungeon.  On its own the dungeon and even the entrance has some stunning volcano and lava scenes.


5. Inside this amazing dungeon is a boring machine which acts like an elevator or teleporter.  Well within the dungeon is a bar called the Grim Guzzler which features heavily in the beerfestival. You will take the boring digging machine and select the option which is  RIGHT PAST THE GRIM GUZZLER (the bar) .  Then follow the path below to the doorway below.

6. Go straight into the doorway above .  The hall curves right and opens into a grated room with no walls and a view of lava.  At max level you can One shot kill the boss in the center of the room named ambasador Flameflash.


7. Down the hallway and then down the stairs killing everything merrily as we go. We come upon the target room in this dungeon.

8. In the Room with the boss THE SEVEN. You will find a Dwarf named Gloom'Rel. This Dwarf is the second dwarf on the right once you enter the tomb.

Talk to Mr. Gloom Rel and ask him about his secrets.  he will summons a spectral chalice.  Accept the quest the chalice gives you . You will need the gold truesilver and ruby from above.  Turn the quest and YOU CAN MINE. Talk to Gloom Rel again and you will learn the mining recipe.


9 THE BLACK FORGE..  The only place you can smelt Dark Iron Ore is at the very end of this dungeon, and there is a shortcut to get to it. Once you have the recipe, you can then mine all you want and head to the BLACK FORGE.
  9. FInish off the bosses in the present room by killing them all. The door will open and down the hall to the right is the BLACK FORGE.


10. The Dark Forge Pictured below will earn you about 141 gold PER Bar of Dark Iron.   Dark Iron Bars are needed along with Arcanite to make legendary items from Vanilla World of Warcraft.
